As much as smokers don’t want to have yellow teeth, they need to suffer this consequence, and unfortunately, I am among these people. All smokers would agree that smoking cigarettes gives a pleasurable feeling. If you are too stressed after working for four whole hours, the first thing that you may want to do before eating in your break time is light up a smoke, and you somehow feel that all those things keeping you preoccupied just vanished into thin air. Then again, after a 1-hour break time, stress will come hunting you down like a predator waiting for his prey to come to him.
I always tend to think that every good thing that happens to you is followed by something bad. Smoking cigarettes indeed gives that euphoric feeling, but over time, I came to notice that despite my consistent brushing, yellow teeth will always be something I had to endure. This is not really alarming for me, but for those who are too conscious about how other people see them, it might be really frustrating.
For a smoker like me, quitting from smoking is simply not an option, and if the only complaint I have about smoking is having yellow teeth, I’d be smoking my entire life. Of course, having yellow teeth is only one among the many bad things that smoking cigarettes has to offer. There’s the possibility of the accumulation of uric acid causing joint stiffness and pain, weakened cardiovascular health, cancer of the esophagus, and many others. The list of its harmful effects goes on, and if you’re a smoker, these facts are not really among the things that you want to be interested about.
Never in my mind have I thought of quitting smoking, but the idea of smoking electronic cigarettes once struck me. I never actually smoked an electronic cigarette, and I’m really not aware of how it’s different from real cigarettes. But one thing that I’m sure of is that these electronic cigarettes would not create a yellow layer in my teeth. Plus, electronic cigarettes are not as bad as real cigarettes when it comes to its effects on overall health.
